Cakes Library

I yearned for a slice of cake. I went home with more from Cakes Library.

I first heard about it from a colleague at my workplace. I thought the cakes she bought looked cute. When I searched for the store on Instagram, I found the cake selection delectable. I had to get some.

So, on one fine Sunday morning, I drove my daughter and me there and parked outside the store just before it opened at 1130am. I was very determined to get at least one slice of cake. We ended up having brunch there and tapau-ed a few desserts. I ordered garlic bread with mushroom soup. My daughter had their recommended cheesy beef lasagne. Then I pointed to several cakes to bring back home: carrot cake, Victoria sandwich cake, lemon-glazed cake with poppy seeds, vanilla cream puffs, and a rainbow sliced cake. We had the Russian Medovik cake at the cafe. The total damage was RM 106.80. It was worth it.

I missed out on the Nutella chocolate cake as it was brought out just after I placed my order. I did not want to come across as greedy, but I will definitely go back there to try other options.
