Dating at Alamanda, Putrajaya

“All love shifts and changes. I don’t know if you can be wholeheartedly in love all the time”
 Julie Andrews

Its one of those weekends in Jenjarom again. Its become a routine for my little family of Three to make the journey back here for us, especially Baby Zeeq to see his Tok Dedi and Nek Mami (maternal grandparents). Thus, an opportunity for Mr Husband and myself to have time alone together. Rekindling the romance lah kata urang tek nak. So, we made a little trip to Alamanda, Putrajaya.

We did the typical dating activities in a mall. Grab a bite, watch a movie and get some essentials or magazines.

We had lunch at the Black Canyon Restaurant. Ordered Set B which includes 2 white rice and 3 main dishes : Tomyam, Sweet and sour chicken, mixed vegetables. It was priced near MYR30 but once the bill came, we saw the figure rose to just over MYR50. Skimming down the receipt, we saw that we were charged extra for a 10% service charge and 5% govt tax. Walawehhh. nasib laki aku tok berduit. he ..he…

Our choice of movie for the day was between ‘Berani punya budak’ vs ‘Dark Shadows’. The latter won our votes because the screening time was earlier. It was one helluva fun movie. It became funnier by just listening to this other cinema-goer beside me laugh his heart out watching it. Tim Burton’s movies has always been a favourite. My favourite part has to be when Barnabos Collins rose from the dead and saw ‘Mephistopheles’. Photobucket

Having feeling content with both lunch and movie, it was time to go but only after Ive gotten myself a magazine : the latest edition of INTrend!!!

Lovely day out it was.
