“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.”
― Charles William Eliot
Would it be too much to ask from Mr Husband, that once we have our own home one day… that I would also like a home-library? On top of my pretty kitchen? It doesnt have to be a very extravagant space with shelves up to the ceiling or shelves moulded on every part of the wall. Perhaps just a neat little corner with one or two 3 row shelves, at least? Because nothing makes me happier than a book. The smell, the picture and that feel of paper in between your fingers.

I have yet to embark on my resolution of reading 12 books a year. Who would have known that a transfer affected everything I have hoped and wished for?!!!! *sigh*I just hope that this will be a temporary glitch in our lives. I still want my mini home library. And for my birthday, just give me a book.
On top of wishing to have a cute home library, moving to a new place should get me excited about getting my hands on other things, right? For instance;
-
locating the nearest CIMB/Maybank
-
knowing where best to shop for groceries : Tesco? Jusco? Wet market?
-
choosing a particular spa or hair saloon to be a regular
-
local florist for my weekly dose of fresh flowers
-
local nursery of where I could get some seeds or plants for my home
OK. Im a tier happier this morning. Been reading too much of Marc and Angel.
