Public Gold – evolving insights

Ask anybody who saves in GOLD, and they would probably say they wished they started early. Including myself. I honestly thought that gold would never be in my life because I don’t wear jewellery. I was so wrong.

Personally, I love saving gold with PG because it allows me to do so without any pressure or hard selling. I can stay in my own zone, saving gold at my own pace and within my budget. There’s a supportive WhatsApp group available, and I can casually reach out to my Introducer if I have any questions. Most of the time, I prefer doing my own research and managing everything independently—it’s truly an introvert’s paradise. Even as an Introducer/Priority Dealer, there are no targets to meet to maintain my status. My primary focus with PG is simply to grow my personal assets.

Naturally, I have come to a stage where I feel compelled to share the benefits of saving gold with PG. Hence, I am open to discussing this with a small group of people. In Melaka. Preferably at a place where there is an internet connection so that it will be easier to demonstrate it online. If it is a cosy group (less than 10 people), 1.5 to 2 hours is enough for a sharing session. No charge for me to be present but having food or drinks during our discussion would be nice. Ha ha ha.

CTDK – Cinta di awan concert

A million thanks to this SitiZoner who shared her moment at CTDK’s concert at Genting Highland. The concert lasted just over 2 hours and it definitely showcased CTDK’s strength as an experienced performer. There was never a moment of boredom. The songs were sung beautifully and putting lyrics on the big screen was a genius touch!

I had no idea that I still remembered some of the song lyrics on top of my head although I haven’t listened to it for quite a while.

CTDK’s cute personality came through which is why she is Malaysia’s songbird, loved by all. Including those who were born past her prime times. I hope that one day I get to see her in a live concert again.

Wrapping up my Youtube channel early for 2023

We are 2 weeks shy into 2024 but I have decided to upload my last Youtube video for the year. It is about my trip to MIRI for the wedding in early this month. I also added a snippet of my planning for 2024 in my MUJI PLANNER.

Now that my formal exams for psychology are done – I thought I should delve into ideas for my final year project. Once that is sorted, I could carry out the project and just like that, my degree is over. Then, if there is rezeki of time and money, I could apply for the Master’s programme at UKM as a part-time learner.

Here is my final video for 2023. I produced only 14 videos this year instead of over 20 in 2022. Still, I admire my persistence (lol) in keeping up with the video editing despite the time and commitment constraints I had this year. Good job Minci for the little battles you won.

Here it is guys, MIRI in video.

Meet Jasmine

This is one of my Jasmine plants that has been with me for at least 3 years. It has it’s own ups and downs as a plant. Once, it nearly died due to drought but I managed to revive it. I find that with Jasmine, it tends to bloom the best when it’s roots are in a tight spot in a pot. Yet it still needs external human support in terms of hydration and appropriate exposure to the sun. I have another Jasmine tree, outside the pot, planted in the soil. That one has a different character – it’s pretty wild. It just grows and stretches as further out as it can. I have yet to see it in full bloom although the buds seem scattered everywhere. Maybe it will give me a nice surprise one day.

As for the bunga kantan? The shoots are growing very high but the pink flowers are nowhere in sight.

Reset Saturday

Sunday is for rest and low-energy activities. Hence, everything resets on Saturday.

In fact, I am currently in my ‘House Fever’ phase. That means my energy mainly focuses on decluttering, beautifying, decorating and improving my home. There will be phases of ‘Journalling’ or ‘Health and fitness’ or whatever that I felt like doing at one particular time.

For the past week, I have been assembling new bookshelves, study tables, shoe racks, telekung stands, setting up plastic bins for storage and decluttering unused items since 10 years ago. That included wallpapers my husband doesn’t use anymore, baby items, old vacuum cleaners, outdated coffee machines, plates and bowls. I’ve also been clearing my wardrobe, getting rid of clothes that just don’t fit my XL size. It’s so sad but if I plan on getting into those clothes – I need to get back on the diet wagon again. I send my clothes to the bin at Lotus Melaka. As for the bulk items such as the old furnitures, I put them out front on Mondays cause that is when SWM, our local garbage handler collects ‘sisa pukal’.

I am also in Solar stuff again. I have been buying solar lights again for the garden. I remembered buying one for the garden gazebo at least 2 years ago and it is still functioning. One of the best purchases ever. I just need to learn how to drill these things better into the wall and reach further heights.

I organized my kitchen too. Colour coordinated things to a certain extent. Somehow the colour red kept reappearing, so red it is with a splash of white, grey and black. Not the most picturesque kitchen on Pinterest but I loved it all the same.

All these activities I do it on a Saturday as I wanted to rest more on a Sunday. To clear my head and be calm for the coming Monday. Reset Saturday manages my anxiety as it keeps me in control of things.
