WHAT
A Public Gold Dealer gives you the opportunity to receive incentives for your own purchases. For those with a bigger dream, it allows you to generate income through recruitment and active promotion of the products.
The tiers of dealers are Normal (ND), Priority (PD) and Master Dealer (MD).
WHY I BECAME A DEALER
I wanted to have a rebate for my own purchases. Since I am a Priority Dealer, I get up to 1.5% incentive from my own purchases. My siblings are signed up under my PG code but even then, I do not have to force them to purchase gold to get the rebate. I can still enjoy the benefits through my own purchases.
I foresee a time in the future when I will be advocating for people to have their savings in GOLD in a more active manner. Hence, I should get the paperwork done first and get myself familiar with the system.
I also foresee a time when I can sell my gold for high returns. Many years ago in 2005, my mom bought gold jewellery for only RM60/g. who would have known that the current rate is RM305/g (as in 2023)!

Purchase a certain amount of GOLD
Up till 2023
ND: Purchase 200g of GOLD in one receipt
PD: Purchase 500g of GOLD in one receipt
MD: Recruit up to 300 buyers with total gold purchase (self & recruits) up to RM300,000 within 12 months
There is no annual fee payment once you become a dealer.
Through recruiting buyers
Up till 2023
ND: Recruit 50 buyers within 3 months.
PD: Recruit 150 buyers and have total gold purchase (self & recruits) up to RM150,000 within 12 months.
MD: Recruit up to 300 buyers with total gold purchase (self & recruits) up to RM300,000 within 12 months

Occasionally there would be Promo deals to become dealers at PG Mall. For example, buy 9 dinars of GOLD, you become an ND. Or top up 20,0000 in GAP account and you become a PD. It depends on what is on Promo at the time.
I secured my dealership tier through this platform. Back then, I was able to become a PD by only buying RM10,000 worth of Gold. I chose a package from Aurora Italia, and secured it through EPP because I couldn’t afford paying it in a lump sum. Once the payment was completed, the gold became mine and I was upgraded to becoming a dealer. As easy as that!
The Catch
If I do not have an empire, that means I must purchase GOLD every month to ensure that I get these incentives. To be honest, I think it is still worth it because I know I can make a commitment of at least RM100/month for my GAP account. Of course, the returns would be higher if you recruit or mentor more people under your tribe.
