The narcissism and grandiosity of his mere existence are astounding. The world seems to evolve around him and his perception of himself is that he will die as a martyr and loved by everyone. It’s really difficult to make a conversation with this type of person because he cannot be proven wrong. They will not own up to their own mistakes. If another person proposes a good idea, it will be shut down first.

HOWEVER

He would proceed with that idea later, giving credit to himself for such thoughts. Macamlah dia yang thought of that idea in the first place. The tiring thing about this is that it is recurrent. He’d go into the cycle of condemning the idea, only to implement it but then announce to everybody that HE was the mastermind behind everything. It does make me think if the same attitude is observed at work and if that is the reason why he is not promoted despite the many years of service.
