This is a Sticky Post. Scroll below for new entries.
I have 2 planners to date. A HoboMinci and this. I plan to use this A6 Plaro as my To Do list book and also to jot down notes during meetings and such.
The inserts are not that great but I was attracted to its ability to charge a mobile phone during those days when you have meetings back to back. Of course, a power bank could easily do the job but would it not look sleek to have your organizer – the only one in the room – to charge that phone of yours?? kan kan.. bergaya sgt..

Hunting for the perfect planner
You know at moments when you are indecisive on how to proceed. For instance in choosing a planner for 2017.. then you get help from The Hand Above. My 800 ml water bottles cap somehow went loose and a whole lot of water spilt inside my work bag.
I was devastated to see my previous beautiful plans destroyed as I use dakwat basah. Even my future plans to say, go hair rebonding with my sister is missing. Wait, whats my anniversary date again? Its written in the ruined planner!!

So I had to start hunting and listed down my criterias of a perfect planner;
- A5 or A6 size – so I could put it in my bag carefully now and travel with it
- cute but serious-like. confusing rite?
- ring bound so I could change my inserts and have dashboards in between schedules
- if possible, a zip clear bag to hold receipts and stuff
- plenty of pockets for my paper clips and sticky memo
- not too pricey – I was looking for something less than rm 150
- yet not too common – i don’t think I want to see another person using that same watermelon planner
- I can buy online instead of flying to Australia or scoot off to Kuala Lumpur
Yeah.. that’s about it. I have shortlisted a few options but I’m still blog-hopping to read reviews on dori’s, kikki, filofax and stuff. I am even considering bullet journaling but I have smacked myself once – just so I could make a mental note that ‘minci.. kau tuh bukannya ada masa sgt nak bullet bagai‘. So.. until I get a new journal – its free printables for the time being. Any suggestions?
Me Time starts now ..
I rested my sachet of Peppermint tea in a Spongebob mug containing hot boiling water. While waiting for it to brew properly – I performed my ablution in preparation for my Isya prayers.
I wore my mint green telekung which I bought from Indonesia. I faced the Qiblat and made my niat. I raised my arms for the Takbiratul Ihram “Allahu Akbar”and recited Iftitah, surah Al Fatihah and another short surah. I made sure my spoken words were at a pace which was slow and clear to my ears, I stood up straight till I could feel my back stretch and I pulled back my shoulders just so I could feel the relief of the spasms of the muscles down my spine in between my scapula.
Then I Ruku’. A perfect 45 degrees bow facing the floor with both feet firmly to the ground. The back of my hamstrings were probably thankful for such actions – I felt like wanting to be in that position longer than usual.
Next was Sujud or prostration. I imagined all the blood flowing to secret areas of my brain as I placed my forehead touched the ground. I kept my back straight as I sit in between the double prostrations. During Tahiyat, I stretched my feet and back enduring that mild ache yet relief to the already exhausted body. Then it was time to give Salam – a head turn to the right and then to the left. The solat ended. Alhamdulilah.
I could really relate to this article: Why Mothers Stay Up Late. Hence most of my blog posts are usually drafted in the night. Or daytime when Mr Husband and my son is not around and I happened to be on Night Shift. Even 60 mins ‘me time’ is sufficient in a day. And what better way to spend it well on the perfect prayer.
My brew is ready. Sipping peppermint tea in my sanctuary, my happy place. My corner of kawaii stuff.
Oh I wonder, what do you enjoy doing in your ‘Me Time’??

Blue ink is just not my color
I wonder if I post this on IG as a giveaway – how many would be interested. Its because I received quite a few blue inked pens in my surprise bundle of joy. I tried to like the colour more but I find that I’m a black ink sorta person.
Hmm.. let me just sleep on it tonight.

Any hard core fans of blue ink here?
